This detector keeps full control over the liquid flow and can trigger a switch for example when the bulk container is running low or the expected numbers of bubbles has passed.
Biotech Solvent Line Monitor, with 2 sensors sensor
The new Biotech Solvent Line Monitor is a small stand-alone device that efficiently detects bubbles in solvent flow lines and then send electronic trigger signals or activate acoustic alarms. This clever monitor can safeguard your laboratory against running out of solvent in critical applications, thus avoiding faulty analysis results, system downtime, or even extensive equipment maintenance.
The Biotech Solvent Line Monitor is perfect for any liquid chromatography or fluidic system. It can be set up to automatically trigger a pump shutdown or a switching valve when a solvent flow line becomes empty or contains too many bubbles or micro bubbles. This user-friendly device is powered by USB connection and the intuitive computer program supplied with every unit allows the user to define sensitivity, mode of operation and reaction type. The two optical sensors that can be connected to the Biotech Solvent Line Monitor are clamped on any translucent solvent delivery line with an outer diameter from 1/16 inch to 2 mm, 3mm to 1/8 inch, or 3/16 inch (4.6 mm).
